Da Conch Shack
Fresh conch, live music, and island vibes on the beach
About
Da Conch Shack is an open-air beachfront institution where conch is the star—harvested and prepared right in front of you in every style imaginable: salad, chowder, fritters, stir-fried, and ceviche. But this place isn't just about conch. You'll find ribs, chicken, steak, and vegetarian dishes all with an island flare, plus desserts worth saving room for.
The vibe here is what keeps people coming back. Wednesdays bring the We Funk Junkanoo Band and DJ from 5 PM to midnight. Fridays feature a DJ spinning island tunes. Weekends have live music in the afternoons. It's casual, friendly, and designed for lingering—whether you're bringing a party or joining one.
Located on Blue Hills Road, it's become the kind of place that draws serious food writers (CNN, BBC, and the New York Times have all praised it) without losing its soul. Expect a genuine beach party atmosphere, cold drinks, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a local. Reservations are a smart idea, especially on weekends when the energy is electric.
